QuoteAt its core, the Armiga is about nostalgia. It sets out to recreate the warm fuzzies of playing that most awesome game of yesteryear while taking full advantage of today's sweet hardware. The Armiga intends to give you a fully decked-out classic Amiga 500 in a tiny box. And even though the product is still in the prototype stage, it works quite well!

This device will become really interesting when the A1200 will be emulated...  :P

I read about it when it was first announced, and frankly I was expecting more... What does it have over my Pi2 other than a nice-y case, or over my MiST (other than the HDMI)?

Nothing.
But it's ready to play without setups for people who don't know how to or they are just bored

Somehow I think that the target audience for this thingy is neither ignorant nor bored...

@chinnyhill10 (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=984) : how does Emulation Station compare to Retropie?

Retropie uses Emulation Station, so it's pretty much the same.
