I am sure he will report cpc related news when there is a new cpc game released.
This is a CPC forum!!! Anything else is already biased against us.
CPC!!!

But on a serious note, we need more CPC games. I'm neither biased towards any system, but so far this is the way it has been. C64 titles are coming out like every few days if not weekly, ZX is about once every two weeks.
Valid point.
We need more games to be made and if need be not limited to the lowest speced machine or release a lower speced version for that machine.
The more we show what the cpc can do hopefully will inspire more to make games like the c64 and speccy community does.
But not me. As much as I would love to I can't programme.

Sadly you're right about that, but CPC people prefer to do crap at forums instead of coding. Seriously, other systems have a bigger community surely. Once in a while it's frustrating to see how much they actually release.

Give me a shoot em up or platformer on the CPC at least weekly, and I'd be all over it :D :P
Hmmm.... I have to loose my job first...
Maybe we should donate some beer money as an incentive/ kickstarter!!

Yeah, but serve beer AFTER the coding was done. :P

Be polite?
Oh I don't know, it may help with some inspirational moments!
Would be fun to see a list of possible new games put to the vote to see what people would like to play.
BTW 90% of CPC coders are occupied by the "32nd years anniversary MegabighugevaporDEMO"... so can't do games at the moment.
:)
the mega what?
Push'n'Pop | Amstrad CPC Demoscene | 30 years megademo - Call for Demomakers (http://www.pushnpop.net/articles-62.html)
still celebrating the big 30.
I don't remember being 30, maybe I will still party like I am though :D
Will bookmark push n pop, its one of those sites I keep forgetting to check on now and then (old age creeping up I guess!)
It's always worth taking a look at PnP. :)
The speccy scene seems to have two big advantages over the CPC one in this regards: AGD for people who know nothing about programming (there is a CPC port, but it's a bit of an ugly stepchild approach) and then several shared game engines for people with minimal coding skills (particularly multicolor engines like Bifrost and Nirvana). I wonder if similar starting points for the CPC might help?
Also they have a large slave scene... er... slavs ?
Westerners are too picky to take such jobs so those easterners can code for cheaper and faster...
Go code my speccy, polish migrant !!!
**this is not racist, I actually have polish ancestry, so my skin is smooth and soft due to all this polish... I guess I should go clean my toilets. :(
Bad jokes appart... considering CPC "scene" starts with a really smaller park/basis.... past years were quite active anyway.
What about atari 8bit ?
what CPC misses is some "engines" that could easily be declined in different variations.
goldbox RPGs, SCUMM... we don't have thoses and it is quite a shame.
Hey, we still have 3D construction Kit...
and the C64 has SEUCK!
Or suck if you don't like C64's :'(
yeah, a system with hardware sprites and scrolling can really get easy to use action games engines.
To me most NES games only use the NES harware engine.
CPC could have been so great in big graphic adventures and RPGs or even wargames... but yeah, side scrolling shooters is were its at I guess.
Then just use a Sega MegaDrive.
;D
Any way, I feature all the 8-bits, if you want us to feature more Amstrad CPC games, then do more Amstrad CPC games ???
