I didn't know that Burning Rubber was released for the Atari ST! Anyhow, I was pointed to a nice collection of midi files created by converting the original ST tunes and I thought, hm, these could benefit from some nice, modern soundfonts!
So I did them.
You can listen to two versions of Burning Rubber, with two different soundfonts, give it a listen if you want :)

I guess nobody likes Burning Rubber? :D
I love it. Although it is damn hard lol!
I was curious about the ST version, but alas haven't found a youtube video of it yet.
As to the midi files, I'm afraid they're awful renditions of the tune (which is why I was curious if they sound like that on the ST), the latter half of the tune in particular has been utterly butchered by the conversion process.

I love Amstrad CPC's Burnin Rubber music, hence why i prefered not saying anything on these versions :D
i thought that burnin rubber was a cpc exclusive cart ?
Not bad!
I do like the versions, though the sound of the original tune is unmatched ;)

Ditto.
Fantastic tune. Not represented well here.

Totally different Ocean game for the ST and Amiga. IIRC they reused the logo and I assume the ST version must have used the CPC tune.
But it is a totally different game. It has nothing to do with the CPC version.
And that MIDI version is beyond bad. But then again most MIDI music sounds like a 15 quid Casio keyboard playing in demo mode.

It was. Ocean confused things by releasing an ST and Amiga game with the same name a little while later. They even reused parts of the cover artwork. But it is a totally different game.
I just listened. There is a timing issue instruments after 1:20 I think. Otherwise, the CPC + version is much less soft. MIDI was a sound way too smooth. But good try !!! I love burnin rubber game and mathew canon song :)
