Title: c64 at car repair shop
Post by: arnoldemu on 08:22, 29 September 16
http://hothardware.com/news/battered-but-not-beaten-commodore-c64-survives-over-25-years-balancing-drive-shafts-in-auto-repair-shop

So anyone have any pictures of CPCs doing some work and still going strong (other than the BMW museum)?

Sturdy machine that one! I do not know of any Amstrad but in Spain the MSX2 are still used when you need to renew your driving license. There is an officially approved program to test your skills called "Driver-Test" that still runs not emulated in many places, believe it or not  :) The new version of the machine still works with the same soft, but I think that it is an emu (I think!).

Funnily enough, there is a company that repairs the old systems and they make some good money with the business because they are the only ones authorized to work on them. You have more info (in Spanish) here:

There are some pictures too.

Between the Mega-Flash Expansion (top/down). Don't you see it? In the 80ies everything in computing was a little bigger.
no, it looks like a car wash.

It's obviously some sort of car repair/tuning setup. The CPC probably just had some sort of Database running on it.
