Never played the original, but looks nice.
I loved the original, and so I just checked out this port. WTF? It's a port of the Spectrum version? This game was beautiful on the CPC!
Reading the site, it's clear that this was the original author, so probably it is actually the authoritative version, but I'd definitely advise you to get the CPC version on an emulator instead...
Anyway, I'll leave you with my favourite quote from my childhood: "Due to an error or miscalculation on your part, you are now dead."
You should put that as your sig :)
The website does say "Start with placeholder graphics, don't worry about them looking good for now." so let's hope that they'll be upgraded to the CPC visuals soon enough, or they'll be an option.
