In many countries (such as Spain, where I live), classic arcade centers simply don't exist anymore. You have to go to a special, newly created place which is usually very far away from the center (sometimes even in another close town).
And these new places also don't work the same way: you pay some ticket and have unlimited coins for many hours.
But what about the classic arcade centers? Japan probably has a few of them, yes. But this one in China totally feels like an old arcade place. People smoke, some are shirtless...
The owner is a nice 70yo man. He says sine the year 2000, only adults come to play. But the kids that some adults bring can't stop looking at the screens, used to their mobile games. This is very different.
