This was a really enjoyable read about an era of PCs around the time where I finally made the jump from the Amstrad CPC to a 486 IBM PC. I think we got ripped off even worse as I don't think I got the 486 until 1995! I later went on to learn how to build my own so I could have decent hardware throughout my university course.
