And it already looks like it's running in Mode 1... So fast though, I wonder if it could be replicated.

It seems very fast... it would be probably difficult to move everything so quickly in a plain CPC but... who knows! the background is pitch black and you can draw all the levels with just plain lines. This should allow to focus all the efforts in the sprites, that are flat as well. I think that there is a number of clever tricks that could be used to make it work. In a CPC Plus it should be no problem to have it running.

The actual resolution of the game is only 192x108 from a quick peek at the screenshots...

If anyone starts I'd be glad to help coding. I'm more into bugfixing/improving others code nowadays then self-coding :)

By looking the vid, "Major Havoc (http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8601)" vector game came to my mind....Cool game ! It would be a great port.
