QuoteThroughout the years we have been trying to feature as many SD based devices as we could, for a multitude of systems such as the Amstrad, C64, NES and the even the Sega Mega Drive. It was also thanks to Retro Towers that we were able to do a full review of the Everdrive N8 and even the Mega Everdrive, which enabled us to play thousands of game roms through an SD card based device. But there is one system we haven't yet featured and that's the SNES, at least until now. As thanks again to Retro Towers we have the very latest SD2SNES here for a hardware review.

i have It in muy unmmoded snes PAL, i don't have any problem with calstelvania Drácula x usa. No región messages.

The chip compatibility not have changed   until years ago.

The problem is ony ikari made the firmware very slow. To support FX games or sa-1. Probably would be necesariy more people working in the open source  code.Type of people with high vhdl skills as gerald. But unfortunly the snes scene appears more desolated that the amstrad :) .

I have the older version from the same retailer. The lack of instructions or where to find them is unforgivable as was the fact at once stage my SD card slipped inside the cartridge and then had to take the entire thing apart.

A retail price of 150 quid for the new version. Ouch! Bad enough at 70 quid for a cartridge shoved inside a jiffy bag with no instructions or SD card.

No instructions regarding how to reset, no instructions about the menu options, hence our negative points :(

It is currently the best cart money can buy even at that price, but most prefer to go down the cheaper chinese route or everdrive
