Hi guys,
Ventured over to the dark side for a bit, moreso to get familiar with an 8bit machine other than the CPC (don't worry, my 6128+ still gets the love it deserves! ;) )
But I have a Speccy +2b and a DivMMC clone, and i'm just wondering if there's any reliable way of converting tzx back to tap format? I think there's a compatibility issue with some of the tap files readily out there and as there's a lot more to choose from with the tzx library. I found an old program TZX2TAP, but it's not great. In fact, I don't think I've ever managed to get any of them working using that.
Anyone got any ideas? Or am I beating a dead horse?
Cheers!
I always used Win TZX2TAP 0.21 but not all tzx files can be converted with success.
There is another way to convert them to wav e load them via mp3 player, or use tzxduino directly.

Yeah the mp3 player thing is really a last resort. Long loading times kinda suck.
Yes it does, until you run OTLA ;D

OTLA is almost as hit and miss as much as TZX2TAP unless I'm doing something wrong 😂😂😂
