Certainly, RIP... as far as I know he was never properly treated by some of his partners. On the bright side, they all have an incredibly nerdy look in the picture  :D

Tho in no way did it "all" begin, Space Wars came before :) Pong was only the first mass success.

Mass production is what started it all. If they hadn't made it available to the masses, we wouldn't be here discussing 8-bit computers at all.

Mmmmnope, first product started it all IMO, you're talking about methodology. Of couse without mass production we wouldn't be discussing whatever*, but that came after the 'prototype'


*also, home computers would rise necessarily even without PONG, even if it took a few years. Why confuse arcade games with home computing?
