The tiny white scratches in the plexi-glass reflect light on most of the screen, but strangely not where the two "people" are. As well as that, (as far as I can remember), the next shape falls as soon as the last one has reached it's final position, so the "guys head" (assuming it's a hetro-sexual scene ) could not be in that position when a new shape has started falling.
