Recently I came across an article on building an advanced CP/M ROM with Vortex support which I thought I'd point you to before it expires from cache:

cool. there is quite a lot of useful cpm and cpc related stuff here.
You can ask for a CD btw and Gaby will put the lot onto it. But I think you may need to pay a few € to cover costs of cd and postage.

Unfortunately my understanding of German is not enough to understand all the docs here, and also some of the information seems to be mixed up. It would be useful if somebody would make some of it available here if possible and also to translate it?
