SPACEBAS.BAS (revisited)

I had a very quick look at this over a year ago and dismissed it as "rubbish", looking at it now I think its my previous opinion that was "rubbish".
If you want a quick blast at invading alien scum and also considering that back in the day it cost bugger all this is a neat little game.

See what you think.

Program is Listed at the end of the video.

Sadly it's Space Base by Robin Nixon and published in CWTA as a type-in!  :(

Thanks @AMSDOS ,

I'll update the YT video description and my post with the correct links later today.
I wonder why anyone would bother doing that - its not as though the authors name is displayed on the any of the screens ???

pelrun

Kids love seeing their name on things, especially if they suffered through typing it all in.

Listing plagiarism was a thing back in the day...

By the way, this game, it doesn't look too taxing, does it now?

That's the funny thing. With this game it would of been published in CWTA first, and with it being as good as it was found it's way into Scull PD.

I don't think there was anything wrong with PD Libraries supplying Listings from Magazines, though is somewhat unusual someone has passed off a Robin Nixon game as their own, since no PD Library would be paying £20 to the author I would of thought.  :D

I remember playing it quite a bit back in the day and thought it was Very Good considering it's small size.
