Hi!
Here is a short translation about my stream dealing with subpixel on Amstrad
To sum up, see the end of this video, which demonstrate well subpixel
https://youtu.be/Ymj_4E9uEpw?t=1h43m15s (https://youtu.be/Ymj_4E9uEpw?t=1h43m15s)
To use subpixel in mode 0, create a mode 1 or mode 2 resolution picture
In mode 2 use Display -> Pixel aspect ratio -> personalized ratio -> 0,5
Use grids to see what you are doing: Preferences -> Ruler, grids -> Step -> 4
Create your shape. Duplicate and translate it from 1,2,3 pixels (1 times in mode 1)
Rescale your image to final resolution and change the pixel ratio to "Anamorphose 2:1" or personalized:2
You should see something like this

Now you may use additionnal steps in your animation and more precision 8)

Sub Pixel Enhanced Realistic Move
Good video, but the real subpixel is, of course, in real time ;D
