This is what I get with IC105 pin 4 CCLK floating. Not sure it is the same.

Exactly what I would expect if the address is related to the problem.

Please try PEN 2 and PEN 3 and look how the READY then appears. I would expect that in your case the duplicated parts will still have the same colour and all appear light blur or red.

In dr_slump's case the colour changes - and that can't be related to the address bit.

Also give it a try in MODE 2. I would expect that it's then "RRaayy" (or maybe "eedd. ", depending on what A0  is)  for you.

sorry... haven't done anythign with the USIFAC anymore recently.
I just tried it with the ULIFAC and there I do have the same issue. After a RESET I am still in the previously selected folder.
OUT &FBD1,0 and |CDR work and go back to the root folder.

Hmmm, since both |CDR and OUT &FBD1,0 works ok (meaning that there is no software problem), most probable this is a connection problem between reset button and the reset pin of PIC mcu, the one shown here:

You cannot view this attachment.

So, i suggest to solder some wire between PIC mcu pin and the reset button solder point (the left one as shown in photo, the other goes to gnd), this most certain will resolve the issue.

What am I doing wrong? When I reset the CPC USIFAC will stay in the previously selected folder. I have to turn everything off to get back to the root folder.
OUT &FBD1,66 does not have any impact on that behaviour.
Firmware is 7f

If you give OUT &FBD1,0 (=reset Board), returns to root dir?
 Does the |CDR command (=return to root) works?

sorry... haven't done anythign with the USIFAC anymore recently.
