Hi All
Is there a Program that i can use on a Mac (Yosemite) or a PC (XP) to :-
Transfer Amstrad CPC FILES from a PC to a CPC formatted 3.5" disk.
I Have found the Program CPCDiskXP that handles .DSK Images.

PC yes. But you need a real floppy controller and a drive connected to the motherboard rather than a USB floppy drive.
Both CPCdiscXP and samdisc can do it. Nothing exists on a mac unfortunately.
@ Craigsbar
Thanks for the Info. Unfortunately Neither of those work at the FILE level (Not xxx.dsk).
It looks like i will have to look for something that can make ADD file to a xxxxx.dsk on a PC or Mac, and then use CPCDiskXP to make a floppy.
Thanks Ray

CPCDiskXP lets you add and remove files from DSK Images. It's what I use it for (under WINE) on my Mac all the time. Especually useful as it also supports Parados 80 and Romdos double sided formats. For easy single file transfers NOTHING beats a Minibooster on the CPC and just send the file via Bluetooth.

Or you can work the other way round.... Use DOSCopy on the CPC to read the files straight from a 3.5inch IBM PC 720k floppy.
@ Craigsbar
Thanks for for the name of the program for the PC "" CPCDiskXP "" That has enabled me to transfer some files to a Physical Floppy and to a xxxx.dsk Image.
Is there a program that will allow me to copy files on a CPC 464 under AmsDos.
That program JL-f128 is only for a 128k Machine.
Thanks Ray
Hope this answers some questions...
Another option to copy disks if you only have a USB floppy is 'WriteDSK'
A tool to manage DSK images (create, add files, remove files, inspect a .dsk) is 'ManageDSK',
Both can be found here...
Thinking of buying this 3/1/2 inch drive (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/thinking-of-buying-this-312-inch-drive/msg73501/#msg73501)
JL Utilities also includes a file copier for all systems (as well as 128k or 256k systems).
Can be found here...

Just looking on the Wiki, and a Linux/OS X port has been done...
ManageDsk - CPCWiki (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/ManageDsk)
iDSK - CPCWiki (http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/IDSK)
Cheers,

Last version of CPCDiskXP supports USB floppy drives (Only IBM CPC format, but works). Also its DSK editor has a file importer from other DSK to allow easy and fast repacking of some DSKs into only one. Also supports the "overflow" hack to have up to 250kb "read only" in files under standard Amsdos and 3.5" disks
Give it a try!!
@ OOWReX and KaosOverride
Thanks for all the help I am now sorted and am able to transfer in all directions.
Thanks Ray
