Title: Symbos and black borders
Post by: salvogendut on 16:18, 14 September 25
I am using a CRT tv with a SCART cable connected to a cpc 464 and when I run Symbos there is a black border around the desktop. I have seen it happening also on the CPC 6128 connected to a LCD TV via SCART. See picture. Is that normal? Is it the same with an RGB Monitor?

Symbos is using the native 320x200 mode. The 320x200 pixels do not stretch into the edges of the monitor but have a border.

You can show the border in BASIC by typing e.g.

border 0
