Title: Symbos (V9990 version) in ROMS ?
Post by: HigashiJun on 22:35, 12 November 22
Just like the standard version of Symbos, is there a way to place the V9990 version of this OS directly in the ROM ?

Cheers.

Yes, that would be possible. Let me think about it. IMHO a system with the G9K has mass storage anyway, so why booting from rom. But maybe you have some other thoughts?

Thanks for your reply Prodatron.

I meant ROM as almost everybody has ROM boards, but I have placed my SYMBOS ROMS in the dedicated SYMBIFACE 3 folder. I have a nice coloured SYMBOS message when I turn my CPC on and then just have to type |SYM to boot to the system.

I was wondering if it could be also done with the V9990 version, without having to load it with RUN "SYM.

I know it's just cosmetic, but it would be nice.
