Title: CPC 6128 with GBS 8200 board and LCD Monitor
Post by: msmthng on 10:44, 02 November 17
hi, i have connected my cpc using a GBS8200 to a Samsung Syncmaster LCD Monitor.
(https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNSa_H85dfNroNRMXNDKlyxIRJXurveW_G8tmAtHScsl9Iwt-2W_mHOEIPQCWF_WQ?key=aTdfZ2h1T1hRNUZsdlRrcWp0RDVydEF5aS05WWNR)[attachimg=1]

On the bottom i have this green noise. Has anybody an idea how to solve this?

The picture is also not really sharp.

I have seen some post with a similar issue in past (but i didn't find this again)

I have connected R,G,B Ground and Sync to the GBS8200 wires.

Thx for help.

This is a very cheap upscaler. You're upscaling a 50Hz 288p signal to a non-integer resolution, which is then upscaled again by your monitor to its native resolution. You're never going to get a sharp image like that.

I would suggest you to invest into an OSSC or a Framemeister.

You've one of the later versions of the GBS8200 that runs at 60Hz. This is what causes all the noise.

Bryce.
