That's usually a sign that the ASIC has died.

It's easier to buy another one, as you'll find no ASIC and you need quite a setup to desolder and solder it back.

Is it worth replacing or should i just stick with my 6128plus?

If you're not a collector and just want to play cartridge games, then there's no reason to own a GX4000 if you already have a 6128+.

Everything except the modulator, and the broken part.
BTW, when you receive your C4CPC you may want to try my http://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/quick-and-dirty-ram-test-for-cpc
