Generally I can say that the above combination works well with the CPC in Mode 2.
But, and there always is a but of some kind.
Sync and therefore picture is often lost for a few seconds when loading from disc. This means that the Rocket stops recording. Is there any way to boost the signal strength (a device?) to stop this happening?
Now I'm in a hardware area that I know very little about, so all I tell you at the moment is that the output from the OSSC is accepted by the Rocket and saved as an MP4 file.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Peter
As far as I can tell this is not a problem with your capture card, the OSSC just takes a moment to regain sync after the screen goes completely black.
Thanks Poliander,
I agree that the "problem" lies with the OSSC. Loading a small BASIC graphic display file is usually fine. The momentary loss (1 second?) of sync is does not cause the Rocket to stop recording.
Larger 17K screen files (especially when loading slowly from drive B) are problematic. Sometimes OK sometimes not.
Cheers,
Peter
