Hi All,
I recently buy a Schneider CPC6128, and i want to plug externaly 3.5" floppy drive.
Schneider has only centronics connections, that İ dont know nothing about it.
Before this one, i have Amstrad CPC6128 (i crush the board unfortunatly) and properly done plugging 3.5" drive.
Is there any quide for how to plug 3.5" floppy on Schneider witth centonics connection port? If there is i couldnt find it anyway.
Search for schneider cpc fdd cable on ebay e.g.

Thanks, but i cant buy from ebay because of our goverment new custom policy.
You have to open custom clerance process to anything higher 30usd (including shipment).
Which means you must pay at least 100euros to custom company :)

It's basically just a 36pin Centronics connector crimped to a normal floppy cable with two pins left empty.

You dont now our goverment officers :)
That they can say "shipment must be at least 30usd, are you trying to deceive me?"
It's big and growing problem here.
Also I was looking ebay for the cable (as in last resort for buy and send someone in Europe) , some of them for PC, some of them has female centronics.

The first would help if you have an Amstrad CPC and want to connect a disk drive that was meant to be used with a Schneider. A pretty rare use case I guess and exactly the opposite of what you are looking for.
The second is for the expansion port.

That's really bad :-( Would that also be the case for "presents"?
Shipping from Germany via DHL incl. tracking would be 15,99€ (very small parcel) or 23,49€ (normal parcel up to 2kg).

also more than USD30 (incl. shipping) to Türkiye.
I remember
@abalore once made a "centronics to edge adapter" -> https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/amstrad-cpc-hardware/compact-centronics-to-edge-adapter/msg213329/#msg213329

that's for the expansion port not the floppy port.
Yes but he can use it with Ulifac then. If it's still available of course.

I don't see the USIFAC mentioned in this thread, so I'm not sure if that's relevant. Also Iconsgr can provide a Centronics to MX4 adapter when you order the Usifac.
@unay - First picture give you answer. :)

Thanks a lot.
After all
@ikonsgr helps me.
He'll make both adapters (50pin for ulifac and 36pin floppy) under 30euros including cargo.
