Talk:Rasters

• The original page describe the rupture effect (seperate section scrolling), but rasters do not do this.

My understanding of rasters is to make coloured bars, either vertically, horizontally, diagonally or messages scrolling.

• I'm probably not the better qualified to talk about this.

I just put some overviews (some may be false) and links.

The problem is that the word Raster is over used in Demoscene but may have a bit different scientific definition.

The coloured horizontal bars are called rasters...but this is only a little use of rasters.

Also what is the difference between rasters and split rasters ? this is not always clear in my mind.
