Hi, I am Dimitrios Karalis and I am very happy being part of the CPCWiki community. I live in Athens and I was born in 1974. During the period 1987-1992 I developed several applications for the CP/M-80 and the CPC6128. To name a few[[Image: Hotel Manager, Technical Dictionary, CPCWrite, Basket Game Monitoring Tool, Music Metronome, The Doctor's Database and Mission-1990 (a text adventure game similar to the games of Magnetic Scroll)MyCPC. Although I jpg|right|thumb|250px|My CPC still have the source codes, I never managed to release any of them! Pixel magazine (see N.60, page 32) was the inspirational guide for all this work...Nowadays I have got a 6128 with a CTM and GT monitor, a double 3.5”/5.25” floppy drive unit, ParaDOS, X-DDOS and R-DOS ROMs, Dobbertin 512 KB RAM expansion, an EPSON LX printer, an AMX mouse, a RS232C, a KONIX Joystick and a hand made reset button. I am mainly interested in collecting all CP/M-80 applications and OverScan Demos/Games for the CPC.
fully active]]
I live in Athens and I was born in 1974. In my opinion, the CPC6128 was the 8-bit micro with the biggest potential because of its CP/M-80 business applications, its colorful overscan games/demos, its powerful Locomotive Basic and its expansion capabilities. Inspired and motivated by the greek Pixel magazine (see N.60, page 32, CAT problems), I still make develop programs for the CPC and CP/M -80 and the CPC6128 just for fun and in order to deal with some of my everyday problems (budget, car mainenance etc). In 2005 I released use COSMOS on an everyday basis to monitor my first demo, budget and On File to monitor the "Monkey Island 2 demo" (see cpcrulezmaintenance of my car.fr), a 600 KB screen demo I prefer single tasking computers because they allow you to focus on the basis of the well known famous adventure gameyour work without being distracted by messages, emails, reminders, notifications, other processes etc, etc.
My CPC releases pertain to: 2005, The The Monkey Island II Demo demo (AmsDOS).
2005-2021, COSMOS, the personal cost monitoring system, which runs under also includes ASCII Tools (128 KB CP/M 2.2).
2024 June, On File database management system, 50 years anniversary of CP/M-80 was my biggest project for the CPC. Its final version (v128 KB CP/M 2.272) was released in November 2021. My future plan is to release a screen based database for the
2024 June, No One Like You Demo, 40 years anniversary of CPC (AmsDOS).
2025, June, On File and On File Register (CP/M-80.plus).A database that also contains field-based graphics.
