I'm very keen to get these two for my 6128 but I have no way of getting the DSK images onto 3" discs..

If I send the discs, could someone copy them on for me please?

Thanks in advance.

I can certainly do that for you. But I am in Ireland. I dunno if that makes postage a slow / problem.

Drop me a PM. depending How quick you want them I might even have a disc or 2 spare.

...or maybe from the endless discussions here? :D

Yeah, mate, I can do it for you! But I'm in Greece, of course.

I can easily do this for you (in the UK so postage should be fairly inexpensive). Would need two blank disks, R-Type needs both sides, Bubble Bobble will fit on one side. Have done something similar recently for a AmiBay user... http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?63006-need-a-cpc-464-game-on-3-inch-floppy

Thanks for the replies.

I've known about these two for a good while, since their release..

but it was seeing mention of them on a Facebook group that reminded me about wanting to get them..

I'm not fussed for time...

I don't have easy access to Paypal to send money though.. When getting on ebay, I either use cheques or postal  orders or in certain cases, I use my mother's Paypal..

I'm not gonna ask for anything. Just post me the disks and I'll copy them for you. If you are short on 3 inch disks I have some spare recycled ones I can use. Just let me know of you need my address to post the disks to, or give me yours and I'll post them on to you on my spares.

No money needed for me as well :) :)

Although I don't have any spare 3" disks :( :(

Thanks to a recent shopping spree on eBay, which resulted in me having some original copies, I now have spare 3" discs...

Many thanks.. it's hard to pick someone as many people have offered help...

No money needed here either, of course. Should you pick me just send the disks and I'll return them filled...

It's not easy as I don't want to hurt the feelings of the others who took the time to offer their help..

Gryzor

I don't think anyone will be offended... you're making it more complex than it needs to be :)

The power of the CPC community allow you to be helped by peoples from any countries.
Choosing someone from UK should probably save you time and money. ;)

Flip a coin to choose from between people in the UK. :D

Ahh, but if you really want to upset the locals, and spend more money in postage, and have a larger turn around time....
I'm in Australia and can also do it for you.

:D ;D :P

Pick me! Pick me!

Actually, I was thinking this silly idea a while back, that we ought to create a "service" register of some kind, showing what each of us can help each other with.
Need graphics or music? Then see a list of people who's available for that.
Need stuff from an old tape transferred to a DSK file? Then see a list of people who's available for that.
Could be neat... but the work required to make such a system is probably overkill.

Bryce

Who needs an index? Ask the question and the correct "people in the know" will usually turn up quite quickly.

Really? You can't think of any yourself? Ok then...
Are you ready? Here it is: People who don't visit the forum (that often).
BADABING!

Bryce

Yes, but even a person who has never been here even once in his life can come along and ask a question and 100% of the time (as far as I've seen) quickly gets an answer from the right person or pointed to the right person without any need of an index[NB]WE ARE the index :D (and a pretty dynamic one too!)[/NB].
