A post on Amiga.org pointed me to this site The Computer Magazine Archives : Free Texts : Download & Streaming : Internet which has a large collection of magazines, it also has separate collections for French and Spanish languages.

Oh wow. Just decided to read AA4 for nostalgia reasons... There's a review of Chimera in there which I played for weeks, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Strangeloop, The Covenant, Obsidian, Sabre Wulf, JSW, Daley Thompson, GAC and so many more that shaped my early days of the CPC!

I think the thing I like most about these old magazines is how much was hand drawn, e.g. the maps in the cheats section.
