QuoteHave you tried using the "Modified lower ROM for CPC6128" ? It solves many problems as far as I understand.
Also, are you using the latest firmware version (2.0.8 )?
Regarding emulators, I tested the game successfully with Caprice64, AmSpirit and ACE-DL.
You just need to copy the PARADOS rom file in the ROM folder of the emulator, and configure ROM slot 7 with Parados.

For emulators I understood what I have to do, but for the M4 I think I have big problems, as I have never interacted with any options and various configurations... I'll try to explain better...::)

I load the games from an internal interface that reads the contents of the folders and starts with the command RUN "M4". The firmware seems to be ok, but I don't understand what to do when you say "Modified lower ROM for CPC6128"...???

Quote from: Slype on 11:04, 13 June 25Hi, all,

I'm looking for the pack containing all CPC RetroDev archives from 2013 to 2023.
This pack was available on the CPC RetroDev page before it disappeared, a trace of it can be found here, but the file containing the archive has not been saved by WebArchive.
Does anyone know where I can find this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am sharing that file here.. Password: "from 2013 to 2023" no quotes. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Je_RvFg4792uvIhoLJTKXz6u1NNe4hkC/view?usp=drive_link

The line seems to be just fine. I measured the MAs at CRTC and got the following results:
MA7: 1,98V
MA6: 1,45V
MA5: 1,98V
MA4: 1,98V

There should be the same amount of zeroes and ones in each of these, which means the voltage should be more or less the same. Surprisingly, MA7 seems to be just fine - other than that it doesn't work as it always seems to be one. However, MA6 doesn't look too good although it appears to work with half a volt lower measurement. The scope has yet to arrive so I could see what is possibly wrong there, but I'm leaning towards suspecting the CRTC itself might be faulty. It is hard to see how this could be result if there's nothing wrong within the IC itself as both MA6 and MA7 are connected to the same multiplexer.

Now Yes !!!
bigger screen and tilt one

better version than AtariST
Incredible mode1 graphics , controls and music
Beware @RockRiver , I understand that you are excited about the news, but if this 128K version offered by @Nich works well on all "Plus" range of systems, it only works on GX4000 from a technical point of view. Keyboard keys aren't patched. So as soon as you arrive on the splashscreen, you cannot select on the GX4000 the version to run. Similarly, during the game, it is always the ESC key that allows you to hide.

With @Urusergi , thanks to the work of @Nich , we made a new GX4000 of the game. I would have preferred to keep this version for next week. But in order to avoid any confusion about GX4000, I decided to release this new version right now.

We were keeping this one for the next week, but as it seems it's beginning to make turmoil on CPC Wiki, I prefer to reveal it now in order to avoid any problem of distorted version which could be released now on GX4000. So here it is :

PROHIBITION from Infogrames

The game already benefits of a GX4000 conversion, thanks to @Phantomz , but this one is really different.

After I talked to him in PM of our desire to offer a new Prohibition patch including the 128K version, Nich hardly worked on a new crack of the game that will be fully compatible on Amstrad "Plus" systems, of course including GX4000 (technically speaking).

In addition to this already fantastic work, Nich prepared a special image destined to be patch on GX4000, automatically recognizing if you have 64K or 128K RAM. So if you play it on a standard GX4000, the 64K version will be launched, as usual (nothing new for the standard GX4000, I'm afraid). But if you are the proud holder of a modded GX4000 which benefits from 128K RAM, it's the full version that will be launched. Full screen display, hide screen, high score table and most of all the boss sections, will be yours.

Many thanks as usual to @Urusergi that permitted to this version to be fully controled on GX4000 8)

Controls:
J1B1 = Fire
J1B2 = Hide
Pause button = Pause game

Nich's work on this version:
    - "Plus" range of systems compatibility patch,
    - 64K/128K releases merged,
    - Automatic selection of the release to launch depending on the RAM available.

Modifications for the GX4000 version:
    - Wait for fire on title screen,
    - All game keys patched,
    - Poke: Unlimited time.

It remains impossible to make the 128K version working on a 64K GX4000 without the source code. But at least, there is an opportunity to enjoy it on the few GX4000s that has been 128K modded  ;)
