Quote from: zhulien on 10:03, 15 June 25how did you go with it and does it have the model number on it?I assume you mean the External Gotek. To be honest I have not used it much yet. I bought it for a future CPC 464 Plus conversion to a 6128 Plus standard. I have tested it as a B drive on my CPC 6128 and it works fine. The Model is SFRKC30.AT4.35. It looks well made, the case is good. It has a 0.96" OLED and FlashFloppy version 3.42.
Quote from: Emu on 20:23, 14 June 25Can you describe the steps you took to install SymbOS? Are you using SymbOS 4?It seems that I made a mistake in copying the files. On MacOS and iOS that is quiet difficult, as Apple does not simply merge files in existing folders.
Quote from: Rabs on 15:09, 09 June 25I recently bought one of these, External Gotek and made up my own ribbon cable.how did you go with it and does it have the model number on it?
But some software expects to run from Drive A, the internal drive, where the external drive is Drive B.
See this thread A-B Switch.
I also have purchased these, Internal Gotek
Quote from: HAL6128 on 17:14, 08 June 25Hi @Emu: just a report... starting the webserver functionality brings up an error while trying to dig into a folder .. maybe again only in my environment? :-(Please describe in more detail what you are trying to do. The webserver does not support browsing into subfolders. However, it does not return an error if you click on a subfolder, but offers to download the subfolder (which results in an unusable file).
