All,
I've downloaded some software for CP/M, some relevant magazines from the '80s, an emulator or two and a few books to help me recall those heady days of a 20-something novice programmer trying to get to grips with my Amstrad CPC6128, forty or so years ago. So all is getting good, I think.
I have a few binary files in folders on my Win11 computer, however, that I wish to port into an Amstrad CP/M format disk. If they had been text, I know I could have created a new Amstrad disk in my emulator and then hand-type (or even copied) into text files in my emulator and saved them to Amstrad disk. However, that's not the case, and I'd rather be able to create a .dsk disk image that would include those files.
Is anyone aware of, or can recommend, any (preferably free) Windows ISO creators that allow us to generate 100K Amstrad format disk ISOs, that I can drag the files from Windows into a .dsk ISO and then load up into my Amstrad emulator, please?

I will add that I am using Caprice Forever 23.7 as my emulator and I have the various binaries that go and make up NewWord wordprocessor, in a Windows-formatted folder in my drive I store my emulators and Virtual machines.

Thanks in advance.

You have the DSK editor in WinAPE.
You can drag&drop the file from Win explorer to an empty DSK image present in your drive.

ps. get out caprice ;-)

Using CPCDiskXP is my software of choice. And in addition Manage DSK. The first one even works with 0,7 MB formats (f.e. Vortex).

Hello,

I use ManageDSK which I find great for creating a floppy disk, formatting, importing/exporting/deleting/renaming files, viewing file contents, viewing sectors...

The interface is really friendly and easy to use, and most operations are done using drag and drop.

Well, I use 20h instead of 15c. Is there a more recent version?
