And you can reply to comments by using a ':' or '::' or ':::' the deeper you go...

Manually it's too hard to figure out, what are new articles, big modifiactions, small modifications, image uploads etc. On the other hand a "new article" contribution doesn't mean a better contribution than a modification, if the new article is only a stub.
